Are you an international student?
Would you like a church that has a mix of locals and internationals?
We invite you to unichurch!
Choose from two meetings on Sundays - 9:30am or 6:30pm.
Also, at 8:30am and 5:30pm (that is, 1 hour before church), we have a special meeting for international students in which we read the Bible slowly and you can ask questions. Our aim is to help you know and understand Jesus Christ.
We have people from Botswana, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, so you'll meet people from all over the world. At Unichurch International, we want to help you understand that Jesus is for all nations.

Some questions you may have:
What do I need to bring to church?
You do not need to bring anything to church, but if you have a Bible, then bring it along because we'll help you get familiar with it!
What do I wear to church?
Just dress casually, as you would to university!
What happens in church?
People arrive at the hall and talk with one another until 9:30am/6:30pm when they sit down. We sing a couple of Christian songs, then there may be a couple of announcements, and next the Bible is read. A speaker then gives a half-hour talk to explain the part of the Bible that's just been read. Afterwards, someone leads in a prayer (5-10 minutes) and we finish off with another song. Drinks and snacks are available at the end. The service goes for about 1.5 hours.
Is church only for Christians?
No. We welcome everyone. If you're not a Christian, we'd be happy to explain it to you, because we want to share the love of God. It doesn't matter if you are Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, or don't have a belief in God, you're very welcome to come along and learn about Jesus.
Do I have to pay / How much does it cost?
No, you don't have to pay anything. The service and staff are supported financially from donations by regular members. You will not be asked for money.
Are the morning and evening service the same?
Very similar. Both have about 100 people. The morning service has families and students. The evening service is mostly students. You're welcome at either (or both!)
What do Christians believe?
This is a good and important question. Christians believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that he is the Son of God, and that he died for all the things that we've done wrong (called sins). God knows everyone's sins; we cannot hide from him. God is also angry at sin, and the punishment is death and hell. But because of his love, God sent his only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins, so if we believe in him, we'll be forgiven of our sins and have eternal life. If we trust and follow Jesus, we'll go to heaven. This is God's message for all people, no matter which country you're from.
